In a grand home in Balwyn, this staircase is a truly a bespoke offering. It’s stair above stair design reaches the three levels of the home. Immense skill in design and execution, along with full commitment at every step was required by Signature Stairs to make this project a success. A stand out feature of the staircase is the free flowing hand crafted curving handrails in combination with the unique designed decorative wrought iron panel balustrade, embodying the design elements of Art Nouveau. Seldom executed in staircase design due to the high level of skill required, this staircase is as individual as a staircase can be, a luxury adornment in the home and a piece of art. Grey Ironbark timber was used for the staircase and the continuous handrails. The upper feature stair is a continuous radius curved stair. The staircase design is cut-string with stained strings and continuous deep fascia’s. The handrail commences with a wreathing scroll over unique cluster and a double ended bullnose tread.
