This is a conventional stair in a townhouse development in St Albans, north-west of Melbourne. On this project, the client selected beautiful Spotted Gum timber for its durability and open grain. The layout of the stairwell required that the staircase coming over the top of the front door without making it feel closed in. The balustrades are stainless steel tubing.
