Open Cantilever Staircase with Thick Treads

This modern styled stair is a beautiful feature of a renovation to a St Helenahome. The stair itself is an open cantilever stair made out of Tasmanian Oak with thick treads. The glass balustrading is in one continuous length on the flight, offset to allow for finger room on the handrail where it passes the trimmer of the first floor. The Glass is held in place by square stainless steel glass clamps mounted onto round stainless steel posts.

Specifications: Open stair; Cut wall strings; Cut outer strings; Treads with 30mm nosing square projection; The Material used are: Treads and strings ex 38mm (Laminated to finish 65mm Thick) Tasmanian Oak; Winders ex 38mm (Laminated to finish 65mm) Tasmanian Oak

Specifications:  Glass balustrade 12mm toughened glasstop mounted to the treads with 50mm round stainless steel posts. Ex 75×50 timber oval moulded handrail.
