The photos of this staircase, do not do this project’s complexity of detail and joinery elements justice. The owners of this home had a very clear vision. Clearly defined treads, monochrome stain finish, clear-glass balustrade… the two staircases in this project in Macleodwork well with the adjoining decor and window placements. Both the ground and upper stairs are closed, with the upper stair maintaining a polished finish to the underside of the treads, even over the change in direction of the staircase. The balustrade is insert glass and the handrail a rectangle profile in the same timber as the stair, stained American Oak.Stair Material: Specifications: Closed stair; Closed strings; Closed strings; Treads with square nosing projection.
