Glass Balustrade can be inserted into a capping or string of the staircase for strength and stability, without the need for additional stainless steel posts; this has been done for this job in Melbourne’s suburb of Hawthorn. The glass on this project was 12mm thick, and has been capped with a Spotted Gum timber handrail. The stair itself is made of Pine and covered in a grey carpet.
