This custom designed stair is the epitome of all designer stair projects. The client, architect and builder of the Essendonhome had something very specific they wanted to achieve with this stairwell. Along with Signature Stairs, everyone worked collaboratively to achieve something truly unique. The project incorporated the main staircase and a split level staircase which were joined and mitred into a landing step. The core design element of the stairis the bevelled back riser line of the treads, and custom made expressed joined lining boards to all parts of the stairwell. With ex 25mm capping with shadow line to the dwarf walls balustrade on the upper flight. The treads have a 12mm radius. Both the stair and the handrails are made from American Oak with a dark stain finish.
