This spectacular looking curved geometric shaped staircase in the ‘classic’ style, with wrought-iron lacework and continuous timber handrails. The timber is American Oak which has a beautiful open grain appearance. Some features of this staircase are crafted handrail scroll at the commencement of the flight balustrade and handcrafted handrail wreaths at the changes in directions and pitch. The handrail is continuous to the entire length of the balustrade. The strings of the staircase have been painted white. Together with the decorative wrought-iron lacework, the polished timber steps and handrail, the different elements and finishes of this staircase are a successful combination, enhancing the ‘ambience’ in thisMount Waverley home.Decorative wall panelling was installed to the walls of the staircase flight, this greatly enhanced the ‘classic’ feel of the staircase.Please note that the wrought-iron lacework was crafted by another company.
