The design of this stair has the right balance; painted strings and posts braking up the amount of timber and highlighting the treads, risers and handrail. The clear finished timbers are in Blackbutt. The staircase is 1200mm wide in the main section of the flight but widens to 1500mm at the base. The stair commences with a bullnose tread and oversize feature newel post. The staircase has traditional cut strings to the open side of the flight.
