Centre Carriage Staircase with Wire Balustrade

This staircase project was in a modern designed holiday home in Sorrento. The location of the stairwell was a contributing factor to the design and detail of the stair. The staircase is a visible architectural element from both the entry and the living areas. The treads have been individually joined and finished at 42 mm, with the addition of riserv reducer strips to the underside of the treads. The timbers used for the stair and handrail are Blackbutt and the balustrade is stainless steel wire attached to stainless steel posts.
